At the Abyss author Thomas Reed on Fresh Air

I'm listening to the Fresh Air interview with Thomas Reed, former Air Force Secretary and author of the book At the Abyss: An Insider's History of the Cold War. Gotta go back to listen to the bit about atomic weapons and the then-Soviet counterparts. Recommended. (hmmm. I thought I posted this at the time I was listening to the show, which was on the 10th. So it's a little belated.)
